Photographer Reginald ThomasWhy five minutes?
Artists are constantly asked to summarize themselves: their work, their practice, their identity, their value.
I wanted to create something slightly different.
5 Min With is less about extracting the perfect answer and more about making space for a useful one — a thought, decision, process or experience that helps us understand how someone is actually navigating a creative life.
Sometimes five focused minutes can tell us more than an hour of polished talking points.
Many of the questions underneath 5 Min With — identity, capacity, opportunity, intention and what it means to build a sustainable creative life — also shaped my Artist Vision workbook and workshops.
