Homecoming: The Fire We Inherit (Exhibition & Cultural Program)

Curated and led a large-scale, multidisciplinary exhibition at the Anderson Center for the Arts exploring legacy, memory, and cultural inheritance within Black communities.

Homecoming brought together visual art, film, and community programming to create a living archive—one rooted in storytelling, reflection, and collective gathering. The exhibition was designed as both an artistic experience and a cultural convening, fostering dialogue across generations while centering care, celebration, and creative continuity.

Through curated installations, public programs, and a press/VIP preview, Homecoming positioned the gallery as a space for belonging, remembrance, and forward-looking cultural exchange.

Soul-Infused Creative & Tech Mixer (AfroTech 2025 Week | Lawndale Art Center)

Curated and led a multidisciplinary evening convening creatives, technologists, and cultural leaders during AfroTech week. The program blended live jazz, film, mindful sound immersion, and facilitated conversation to foster culturally intelligent dialogue at the intersection of art, technology, and Black futures.

Highlights included a moderated impact panel on technology’s role in the arts—exploring AI, smart contracts, digital ownership, and storytelling platforms—alongside artist film screenings and reflective conversations.

Designed to create meaningful connection, collaboration, and empowerment within Houston’s creative community.

Nurturing emerging voices at POST Houston—two years in a row.

In partnership with Marginalized in Mind, I’ve curated two Free Juice exhibitions that celebrated identity, memory, and transformation. From quiet reflections to bold declarations, each show offered a constellation of voices shaping new legacies of belonging and visibility.
